Pound for Pound When F.X. Toole`s ROPE BURNS came out in 2000, the boxing community couldn`t figure out who wrote it. The five short-stories box cantilever tool and one novella captured the unforgiving California boxing scene so perfectly that it clearly was written by someone in the know. When Tim Pat is killed in a driving accident, Cooley begins to go off the deep end: his life spirals into alcoholism, depression, box cantilever tool and rage.
